For twenty-two years I taught economics to teenagers. Every summer we made the drive to Whistler — and every time those mountains appeared through the windshield, something in me exhaled. Seven years ago a boutique came available right here in the village. My husband Dave looked at me across the kitchen table and didn't say a word. He didn't have to.
Now I'm sixty-three, and it's time to retire. Not because something went wrong. Because something went beautifully right.
This is my retirement sale.
Every piece was chosen with one woman in mind — the real one, not the one on the hanger. Someone who knows these mountains, who lives with intention, who doesn't need to try too hard. Everything must go, at the lowest prices I've ever offered.
Find something that makes you stop. Trust that feeling.
With love, Heather
